The Benefits of our Private Group Coaching method

Group Coaching is a process for learning together with the facilitator.

Developing your own learning objectives and deciding together how you will learn is a foundational part of the process. Your group may come with some specific learning objectives for the whole program or each session. Tell us what you want to learn in advance and we can prepare that for you as a custom training/learning. You'll see some suggestions at the bottom of this section. Or you can use the coaching time to answer questions that you bring into the room on the day. Or the facilitator can guide you to learn from your recent experiences together or as individuals.

In this self-managed, 'private' group, you choose your group mates. We recommend a maximum of eleven participants for this learning method. Knowing your fellow group members will have advantages in your shared experiences - maybe you work or study together.

The group will assign a coordinator - you become the default coordinator when you sign up below. The coordinator will agree meeting dates with the facilitator.

Typical topics that come up for discussion in private group coaching include: group dynamics, psychological safety, career transition, conflict, motivation, problem solving, influencing, personal branding, collaboration, relationship building, driving change, culture building, team merger, formation & transformation, listening, situational awareness, leadership style, starting a new business, learning and adapting, increasing performance, succession, setting strategy, organization design and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people can join a group?

A private group consists of up to 11 participants. The group can be your intact team, your classmates or a mixed group

Does every member have to sign up here?

No. Only your group coordinator needs to enroll on behalf of the group here. Later, we will ask you to confirm the names and email addresses of the participants who will join the 6 events.

How much does each participant pay?

Once you have paid for your chosen payment plan, you can decide how to allocate payment.

How long does each group meeting last?

Each session lasts 90 minutes.

Are the groups recorded to watch later?

No. We do not record the meetings in order to support participants to explore their current professional challenges in confidence. However, we will provide supporting materials for preparation and for future reference, which will continue to be available on our e-Learning platform.

When does the program start ?

You can choose the date and time for your first session on the facilitator's calendar. You will get access to Andrew's calendar after enrollment.

When are the subsequent groups scheduled?

After the first session, the group manages itself. The group decides the date and time of the next 5 sessions to suit all participants and Andrew. We recommend once per month.

What if I cannot join a group meeting?

Despite signing up for the whole program being each participant's commitment to attend, experience has shown this will happen. Allowing the group to decide the date and time of the next group, makes it flexible. If you cannot join an event, please tell your group coordinator. Each group agrees its own protocol for managing attendance and how to catch up after absences.

When does the program finish?

The program finishes at the end of the sixth group session, but participants can continue to meet independently and using our methods, tools and materials.

How long do I have access to the materials?

You have unlimited access to the supporting materials on Teachable - for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.

How do I get answers to my questions during the program?

You can bring your questions into the group meetings, you can post them online in the Teachable space for the cohort and you can book a one-to-one call with Andrew in his open office hours

What is the coaching process?

The coaching process is different for every group. Andrew designs the process with you based on your objectives and how your group responds to coaching.

I still have questions. How do I contact you?

No problem. Ask Andrew anything by email.
